Rakyat Facility is looking for a suitable candidate to fill up the position of General Manager-Facility Management. The candidate’s responsibilities would include:

The GM will be responsible for the entire operations of the Facilities Management Business of
the Group, including but not limited to M&E facilities, cleanliness and upkeep, security and safety
and general building maintenance.
He/she must have a proven experience in Business Development; Sales and Marketing; CRM;
Planning; budgeting; facility and maintenance; engineering; development and evaluation of
strategic business goals and objectives of the company.
The person will be responsible for creating and implementing business development strategies
and overseeing activities that ensure the contract delivers to the acceptable standards.
He/she will be responsible for developing and establishing customer service and budgetary
He/she will establish work plan and staffing for project, and arrange for recruitment or assignment
of personnel as per project requirement.
He/she will develop, monitor and review annual and life-cycle replacement maintenance
programs (for both preventive measure & regular service), establish policies and procedures,
comply with the existing internal regulations, company policies, time-line, and negotiate
The successful candidate will also be responsible for all staff and subcontractors on site, together
with the financial and operational performance of the contract.
He/she will be responsible to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with
clients, local authorities and employees.
The role will also involve setting staffing levels in compliance with business specifications and
monitoring them to enable the delivery of efficient and effective services.
Will conduct regular staff meetings to review on-going, trouble-shoot areas needing corrective
action, issues related to employees, etc.
He/she will be responsible to develop, coordinate and evaluate the implementation of monitoring
and inspection programs to ensure an appropriate level of customer service are being meet.
He/she will be responsible to implement complex activities related to the efficient management
of facilities with cross-functional department managers, in order to ensure that buildings under
the organization’s responsibility meet the required company and government standards and
He/she will be responsible that the building under maintenance are in compliance with all
relevant legislation and mandatory requirements by the authorities.
To manage and supervise the Auxiliary police team.
* The successful candidate will hold a degree in facilities management, mechanical engineering
or similar qualifications and can demonstrate leadership in FM projects.
* Must have at least min 15 years working experience with the last 3 years in senior management
role. Advantage will be given to those who experience in managing high rise building.
* He/she should be able to demonstrate knowledge of best practice in facilities management and
* Possess strong analytical, organizational, management and computer skills.
* Core characters of integrity, respect, excellent communication, tolerant & passionate, mature
and able to work under pressure.
* Good business acumen and has desire to grow with the company.
* Proficient in spoken and written in English and Malay.
